This mechanism is not original but a very good replica.
The wire plug is not a straight fit to the original wire loom. This need a simple modification in order to fit.
The fitment and working is the same.
These will fit the either Golf or jetta mk2 both 3 and 5 door models. But facelift models only. This means the door with the mirror in the corner.
Both left and right available.
